Dear @Travis Pollard
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, you want to replace the default email address with your custom domain. Here are some suggestions you can try:
1.Add and Verify Your Custom Domain
- Go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
- Navigate to Settings > Domains.
- Click Add domain, enter your domain (e.g.,
tgpcarpentry.com), and follow the verification steps (usually adding a TXT record in your DNS).
2.Update DNS Records
- After verification, update your MX record to point to Microsoft 365 so that email for your domain routes correctly.
- This step ensures all emails sent to
@tgpcarpentry.comgo to Microsoft 365 mailboxes.
3.Change User Email Addresses
- In the Admin Center, go to Users > Active Users.
- Select the user (e.g., Travis Pollard), click Manage username and email.
- Change the domain from
onmicrosoft.comto your custom domain (tgpcarpentry.com) and save changes.
4.Set Custom Domain as Default (Optional)
- Still under Settings > Domains, select your custom domain and click Set as default.
- This ensures all new users and groups use
@tgpcarpentry.comby default.
5.Test and Confirm
- Sign out and sign back in with your new email address.
- Send a test email to confirm everything works.
- DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate globally.
