VLOOKUP function - Excel - Error in Table Array after Mac update to Tahoe

After the Mac update to Tahoe, the Excel VLOOKUP function gives an error as the Table Array selection jumps back to the lookup value.

This function used to operate successfully on Mac Sequoia but errors occur after the update to Tahoe. We have reset the Mac entirely to wipe the OS installation, then re-installed Sequoia and Microsoft Office 365 from the Microsoft website, the error now remains. We have also kept Excel on another Mac, then updated to Tahoe and the error then occurs. We tested various instances of keeping Tahoe, updating Excel from the App Store, or completely wiping the Mac then starting fresh but unfortunately we cannot get rid of this bug.

Is there anyone else experiencing this issue and have you found a way around this bug or can you give any advice on a fix as it leaves me in a precarious position as I run the entire company from my Mac, using VLOOKUP quite a bit.

Hi @Marius Esterhuyse
Thank you for posting question to Microsoft Q&A.

According to this issue, please try to install earlier version of Excel via this link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac#release-history-for-office-for-mac
You could try to install Excel on the 2 previous version (For example: try to go for Version 16.99) and install again on Sequoia. If the issue persists, please try earlier versions to see if could help.
