    Hello @Rosemarie Chris Badong

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Just to clarify, were you able to sign in to Teams with Authenticator before, or is this the first time you're seeing this issue?

In the meantime, here are a few steps you can try:

    1. Check Your Phone's Internet Connection: Make sure your phone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data network. The app needs an internet connection to receive the approval request.

    2. Update the App: Please check that the Microsoft Authenticator app is updated to the latest version. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements that could resolve the issue.

    3. Use the One-Time Password Code: In the Microsoft Authenticator app on your new phone, tap your work account and choose Show code, you should see a 6-digit number. On the Teams login screen, choose the option that says "Use a verification code" and type in that number.

    4. Check Your Phone's Notifications: Please go into your phone’s Settings and make sure that notifications are turned ON for the Microsoft Authenticator app. Sometimes, this can accidentally get turned off.

If you’ve tried all these steps and it’s still not working, the next best step is to contact your company’s IT department. They have the tools to reset your account’s authentication settings from their end, which might be necessary if something is misconfigured on the backend.

Please try the steps above and let me know if anything changes or improves. Hope this helps you get back into Teams!

Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution that works for you.
