There is currently no published Python package version that added full Teams call features equivalent to the Node.js createTeamsCallAgent API. The Azure Communication Services Python SDK supports general calling features, but Teams-specific real-time calling functionality is not yet available in the Python SDK as of September 2025.

You can use Python to develop Teams bots, tabs, and messaging extensions, but direct programmatic Teams calling (voice/video integration for Teams users) is not supported in any released Azure Communication Services Python SDK package at this time
