Hello,

I have configurations in Microsoft Defender related to web content filtering and blocking specific URLs, and they have been correctly applied to my Windows servers in Azure.

My question is: I also have a Windows server in Yandex Cloud — can I onboard this server using the onboarding package or script from Microsoft Defender, and apply my existing configurations to the server in Yandex as well?

Additionally, I would like to note that the tenant has a Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Plan 2 license.

    Hi Mahir Cahangirov,

Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Plan 2 license is not enough to manage servers in Defender for Endpoint. To onboard servers to Defender for Endpoint, server licenses are required. Options are:

If you have Defender for Cloud, you can onboard using Azure Arc-enabled servers which is recommended or you can enable Direct Onboarding from Microsoft Defender for Cloud >Environment Settings > Direct Onboarding

Connect your non-Azure servers to Microsoft Defender for Cloud with Defender for Endpoint
