Setting up future meetings with participants using Teams calendar or Outlook integration
Hi @Nicki Couzens,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Regarding your request to create a webinar without requiring registration, there isn’t a direct setting to disable registration entirely. However, there is a workaround that allows users to join the webinar without registering.
Steps to allow users to join without registration:
- Go to your Webinar Meeting options.
Set Meeting access to “Everyone”.
This ensures that anyone with the link can join directly without needing to wait for the organizer to admit them.
- Save the settings and publish the webinar site.
- Go to the webinar chat. Click on the area highlighted in the image .
- Copy the “Join the meeting now” link. Select all the text, press Ctrl + C, and share this link with your participan
With this link, users will be able to join the webinar directly without registering.
Since this is a workaround, the registration report will show 0 registrants.
However, you will still be able to see the attendance report for those who joined.
The recording of the webinar will be saved and available if needed.
Thank you again for your time and understanding. While my initial response may not resolve the issue immediately, I’d like to gather more details about your situation so I can assist you more effectively.
I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response!
