    Dear @sian garbutt,

Good day! Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

We apologize for any inconvenience you may encounter when using our services/ products. To help you with the issue, we need more specific information from you:

    • When was the 365 Business Standard purchased?

Microsoft announced that starting April 1, 2024, and continuing globally in 2025, they introduced new Microsoft 365 and Office 365 suites without Teams, alongside a standalone Teams SKU. This includes Microsoft 365 Business Standard (no Teams) and Microsoft 365 Business Premium (no Teams). Existing customers can keep their current plans with Teams, but new or renewed subscriptions may require selecting the correct SKU or adding Teams separately. To verify your subscription details:

    1. Navigate to Microsoft 365 admin center > Billing > Your Products
    2. Review the subscription name:
      • If it states Business Standard (with Teams), you can access Teams.
      • If it states Business Standard (no Teams), you will need to purchase the Teams license add-on.
