Is there any way to convert the Excel extract from the planner to a template that could be imported to Microsoft Project?

When i do that each time, the Microsoft project doesn't detect the hierarchy of the tasks.So how can i make it available to be used in Microsoft project?

Regarding to the hierarchy you mention, to import with the same hierarchy as planner, you will need to adjust the mapping during the Import Wizard in the Map Data section.
In Microsoft Project, some values from the Excel file exported from Planner may not be detected in the correct format.
For example, Planner includes a Created Date field, but when exported to Excel, it is stored as text. As a result, when Project reads the Excel file, it treats that column as text, which does not match the expected configuration in Project. You will need to manually modify the Excel file to ensure the correct format before importing.
Similarly, if the Planner Excel file contains fields that do not match any Microsoft Project fields, they will appear as not mapped. For these fields, you should review the structure of your Planner data and either map them to the appropriate Project fields or remove them.
To better understand the mapping, you can also try creating a sample project in Microsoft Project, and use that as a reference for field names and formats.
