I have had my work email and our main company's email deactivated.

I did notice that the subscription payment was withdrawn in August, but not for September and also the credit card on file was going to expire in the end of September. I was trying to log in to so that I could update payment information and that's when I noticed it gave me an error code.

The code is AADTS900561: endpoint only accepts POST requests. Received a GET request.

Our office has been closed but I would monitor our business from my home.

Any help in reactivating both emails and having access to them.

Thank you,

Maria

    Hi @Rgoc

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

We understand your concern regarding the deactivation of your work and company email accounts, and the error you encountered while attempting to update your payment information.

When your Microsoft 365 subscription expires due to the credit card on file reaching its expiry date and the September payment not being processed, it can lead to service interruptions including loss of access to email and other Microsoft 365 services. Additionally, the error code you encountered "AADSTS900561: The endpoint only accepts POST requests. Received a GET request" typically occurs when trying to log in using an outdated or incorrect link, or from a browser that blocks certain login behaviors.

If the subscription has expired but the account has not been deleted, you may still be able to access the admin portal and update your payment information by following the steps below:

    1. Log into the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
    • Visit https://admin.microsoft.com
    • Use your admin credentials (if you're the account owner).
    • If you can access it, go to Billing > Your Products, select the expired subscription, and click Reactivate.
    • You may need to update your payment method during this step.
    1. Fix the login error code
    • Avoid using bookmarked links, you can go directly to https://login.microsoftonline.com
    • Clear your browser cache and cookies. Launch the browser, and press Ctrl + Shift + Delete to open the Clear browsing data utility. Select as below then click Clear now.

    1. Try using a different browser or incognito/private mode.
    2. If you're unable to access the Admin Portal, the best next step is to contact Microsoft’s Data Protection team for assistance with account recovery and reactivation. Use this link to find the appropriate contact number: Global Customer Service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

I hope this helps you regain access to your account quickly. I'm glad to assist and truly hope the information provided has been useful. Please feel free to reach out anytime if you need further assistance.
