For example: When you open Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, does the app suddenly freeze and stop responding?
Additionally, regarding the “not syncing” issue you mentioned, could you describe the behavior more clearly so I can better understand? If possible, please share a screenshot as well.
Recently, I’ve also noticed some iPad users reporting similar behavior. In the meantime, while waiting for an official information and I’m not sure if you’ve seen this yet, but I’d recommend referring to this thread (which summarizes temporary workarounds): Excel Word freezes on iPhone iOS 26 and iPad iPadOS 26.
May I also know which troubleshooting's steps you've already tried? If you haven’t tried any yet, you can try a few suggestion below:
1- Sign out of all devices and browsers, then sign back in
2- When the issue occurs, try enabling airplane mode or turning off Wi-Fi.
3- Restart the Office apps in your device settings or try resetting your device.
