Using Microsoft Teams on macOS, including installation, features, and compatibility

With your new information, this issue is highly due to macOS Tahoe’s new window window/display management system may not be fully compatible with the current Teams client. Tahoe 16.0.1 system is a new released operating system which can have incompatibilities with current Teams client design which up to now is optimized for macOS Sequoia 15.
In the meantime, you could try some steps below:
1- Clear Teams cache
- If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit or press Command (⌘)-Q.
- In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, and then double-click Terminal.
- Enter the following commands, and press Return after each command:
rm -rf ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.com.microsoft.teams
rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.teams2
- Restart your Mac.

2- If you've tried all the steps above and the problem persists, we suggest you report this issue directly to Microsoft.
Recently there were customers reported us for experiencing the same issue as you do. However, there is not any official notification or new update addressing this issue. That's why reporting this issue directly to Microsoft so they can acknowledge this issue. The more users who report it, the faster they will prioritize a fix. The product team actively reviews customer suggestions to identify areas for improvement and prioritize future updates.

In the meantime, we kindly suggest you should keep using Teams in the web version at https://teams.microsoft.com as a temporary workaround to prevent any negative affect to your workflow until Microsoft release a new update addressing this issue.
