    Hello Robert W Ricks Jr

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. It's my pleasure to help you today.

The error code you are seeing refer to a command is missing or incorrectly specified. I see that it is appearing on DISM, which means this is related to a DISM command. So, may I know which command are you trying to run?

Usually, this means a command was input incorrectly, so I suggest you check the command carefully again first. I see there are also error 3 on the message, which can point to a corruption in the system file, which could also cause error 1639. Please try to follow these steps to fix it.

    • Run SFC scan.
    1. Type "Command Prompt" on the search bar and press Enter.
    2. Type sfc /scannow and press Enter.
    3. Restart your PC when it's done.
    • Perform a check disk.
      1. From the elevated command prompt type chkdsk C: /f /r /x and press Enter.
      2. Press Y when prompt to schedule for the next restart.
      3. Restart your PC.
