Hello,

I'm an IT administrator in a school. We bought Windows 10 ESU 3-year licences for our 21 computers. We activated them according to the instructions from the foollowing site: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/whats-new/enable-extended-security-updates#get-the-product-keys-for-activating-extended-security-update-esu-licenses

The "slmgr.vbs /dlv" command says they are all properly activated, but Windows Update says something opposite:

Your-device-is-no-longer-receiving-security-updates-ee2f1bbbb8fafdda43feef8419f88721

It happens on all computers. They have all updates (up to October) installed

Did you have a similar experience?

I read somewhere that it's only a visual bug end ESU is working correctly.

Can you confirm?

Best regards,

Maciej Sac

After all the hoops I had to go through to deploy ESU on one system (took 5 weeks and dozens of emails, mostly because of CDW), getting it installed and still seeing the "Your device is no longer receiving security updates" banner, sure is frustrating (and anti-climactic too). Calling it a "cosmetic bug" is like calling a computer's "1+1=3" result a "cosmetic bug"…

To be clear re the Win10CommercialW365ESUEligible property and 113, those kick in for Azure deployments?

For the rest of us, if we see

    win10ConsumerESUStatus: 1
    Win10CommercialAzureESUEligible: 0
    Win10CommercialKeybasedESUEligible : 1

And in EventViewer > ClipESU > Event ID 123 (Key-based ESU is enabled)

    Then we're good?
