    Hi @G A

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!

To better assist you with extracting data from batch files using Power Query specifically values from cells with red and blue background colors. I’d like to ask a few quick questions to better understand your scenario:

1.Do you want to extract values specifically from cells with red and blue background colors across all sheets and files?

2.How would you like the extracted data to be displayed?

    • Do you want a count of red and blue cells?
    • Or do you want to list the actual values from those colored cells?

3.Would you be open to using VBA or another tool to tag or flag colored cells before importing the data into Power Query? (Power Query doesn’t natively detect cell background colors, so preprocessing might help.)    4.If possible, could you share a OneDrive link to a sample file via private message? Please feel free to remove or replace any sensitive data in the file before sharing.

I’ve misunderstood anything, please feel free to correct me. I just want to make sure I fully understand so I can support you better.

Thank you again for your time and understanding. While my initial response may not resolve the issue immediately, I’d like to gather more details about your situation so I can assist you more effectively.

I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response!
