    Hi @TTsang

Just checking in to see if you have any updates.

I need to add one more very important point that is critical for making the ActiveX Controls appear. You need to make sure they aren't disabled in your Trust Center.

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Go to File > Options > Trust Center.
    2. Click the Trust Center Settings... button.
    3. Select ActiveX Settings from the menu on the left.
    4. Please make sure that the option "Disable all controls without notification" is not selected. If it is, this will prevent the controls from appearing. (The safest setting is usually "Prompt me before enabling...")

User's image Let me know if checking that setting helps.

    Hi @TTsang

Thank you so much for contacting Microsoft Q&A Forum.

Based on your description, I understand that you are trying to add a command button to a form, but you cannot find the ActiveX Controls section within the Developer tab, even after trying to customize the ribbon.

I have tested this in my environment. After you added the Developer tab, is this what your screen looks like, and you are unable to find the ActiveX Control section?User's image

If your screen looks similar to my test, this often indicates a problem with the Office installation. Please try the following steps to get the controls to appear:

    • Completely uninstall your Office application using the Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall Office app > Restart your computer > Reinstall the Office application from your official source.

You can refer to the official Microsoft documentation: Download, install, or reinstall Microsoft 365 or Office 2024 on a PC or Mac

Download and install or reinstall Office 2021, Office 2019, or Office 2016

Here is an image from my environment after I reinstalled the Office app, which shows the "Controls" group correctly. This is where you will find the "Insert" button to add your ActiveX command button.User's image

    I hope this helps!
