I uploaded files to one drive via a hard drive over a year ago and I checked the files, and they were all there. However, I checked today and they aren't there. What's happened

    Hello Jodie Smith,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Q&A forum

I understand you are looking for your missing files in OneDrive.

Go to https://onedrive.live.com make sure to sign in to the correct account that you uploaded your file to. Here are some methods for you to search for your missing files:

    Check the OneDrive Recycle bin

    • In the left sidebar, open Recycle bin and look for items.
    • Restore anything you recognize.
    • Items remain there for at least 30 days (longer if your bin isn’t full).

Use Restore your OneDrive (if you’re a Microsoft 365 subscriber)

    • On OneDrive.com: Settings (gear) → Options → Restore your OneDrive.
    • Pick a date in the last 30 days (e.g., a day before you noticed they were missing) and restore

Feel free to reply back if you need further assistance.
