In Microsoft Forms, i selected "Who can fill out this form - Anyone can respond - Anonymous response, doesn’t require sign-in" but it still requires people to sign in to submit the form.

I need it where anyone can response and doesn't require sign-in.

    Hi @Ortego,Kristin,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum.

With Microsoft Forms isn't behaving as expected even though you've selected “Anyone can respond – Anonymous response, doesn’t require sign-in.", I'd recommend you verify a few things to ensure the feature is up and running:

As a first step, please verify that the form settings reflect your intended access permissions.

Go to your form in Microsoft Forms:

    • Click “Collect responses” (or the “Share” tab).
    • Make sure the option selected is: Anyone with the link can respond
    • If it says “Only people in my organization can respond”, it will require sign-in.

Next, please verify the link you’re sharing to ensure it’s the correct one

Make sure you're sharing the correct link:

    • The link should start with something like https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?...
    • If you're sharing a preview link or an edit link, it may prompt for sign-in.

Try copying the link again from the “Send” tab and test it in an incognito/private browser window.

Lastly, please note that even if you choose 'Anyone can respond,' your Microsoft 365 administrator may have disabled anonymous access at the organization level.

To check this, you should contact your IT admin and ask if external sharing or anonymous responses are disabled in Microsoft Forms settings for your organization. They can verify this in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Settings > Org Settings > Microsoft Forms.

Note: Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

I'm looking forward to your reply.
