    Dear Lawrence,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum.

The error code 0x80070002 (which corresponds to STATUS_WAIT_2) almost always means ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND.

This indicates that your backup program is trying to back up a file or folder from your Pictures directory that no longer exists. The backup's index is out of sync with the actual files on your hard drive. This can happen if a file was moved or deleted, but the backup program hasn't updated its list yet.

Please refer to this article: System Image Recovery fails with a 0x80070002 error - Windows Client | Microsoft Learn.

If you have any issues, I'm here for you to assist.
