Can I not create a power bi account with a private mailaddress?

Per S 20

I would like to have access to power bi but it seems that I can not register on a private account?

You cannot create a Power BI account using a private email address. The sign-up process for Power BI requires a work or school email account. Consumer email accounts, such as those from Gmail or Hotmail, are not accepted for registration.

If you are facing issues with registration, it might be due to using a personal email account instead of a work or school account.
