    Dear @Troy Wiltshire,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Could you please confirm if you are using personal or business subscription?
If you are using Business Accounts, you can try the steps below:

    1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
      • If you're using the Simplified view, select Subscriptions.
      • If you're using the Dashboard view, go to the Billing > Your products.
    2. Select the subscription that you want to cancel.
    3. On the subscription details page, in the Billing settings section, under Subscription status, select Cancel subscription.
    4. If you’re within the grace period during which you can cancel your subscription, select a reason for why you’re canceling, provide optional feedback, then select Cancel subscription.
    5. If you’re outside the grace period, you can only turn off recurring billing. In the Canceling your subscription pane, review the information about how canceling works for your subscription, then select edit the recurring billing settings.
    6. In the Edit recurring billing pane, select Off, then select Save.
    7. Repeat steps 1 through 6 to cancel all active subscriptions.

If you are using Personal account, you can try those steps:

    1. Sign in to Your Microsoft Account Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services > Sign in with the same Microsoft account you used for the trial.
    2. Find Your Subscription Under Subscriptions, find the trial subscription.
    3. Cancel Subscription On the next page, select Cancel (or it might say Upgrade or Cancel, depending on your subscription type).
    4. After Cancellation After the expiration date, the service will stop unless you purchase a subscription. You still can continue using the trial until it expires.

If you don’t see the cancellation option, it may mean the trial is already canceled or expired. You can also check your payment history under Billing to confirm there are no pending charges.

To cancel your free trial before billing begins, you need to go to the Microsoft 365 admin center and turn off recurring billing. This action will ensure that you are not charged once your trial period ends. If you do not turn off recurring billing, you will be charged the applicable subscription fee after the trial ends. Alternatively, if your trial subscription does not have a payment method associated with it, you can simply let it expire at the end of the trial period, and you won't be charged.
