There's a bug with the new Microsoft Careers login page. I log in to my Career account just fine. However, the issue happen when I clicked apply for a random position. The website got stuck in a Sign-In loop. I tried Sign In with Microsoft Account and Google Account, it returned Logged In Successfully for a second and this screen below kept popping up.

I can't submit any applications at the moment. Anyone experiencing the same issue with the New Career site partnered with Eightfold A.I?User's image

    Hi all!

I was able to finally apply for jobs. My tech friend Matt helped me with this. I've been trying to figure this out all week. so stressful & annoying. I got emails from recruiters asking me to apply again on their new site so they can move me thru the process. so desperate to be able to apply. I am so grateful to my tech friend Matt, who helped me figured out this solution for now. we were on Zoom trying different ways and There is only one way we found as a workaround. You have to create/open a BRAND NEW GMAIL account and then use that account to create/open a new MSFT career account and the newly created gmail email account will let you apply for jobs on the new site. it is painful, We should not have to create a new gmail account just for Microsoft but we don't know how long it will take for MSFT to fix this. My friend told me it is an easy fix. There is something mismatch of AZURE configuration along with eightfold, we saw errors on chat GPT regarding this when i used my main gmail act. if you have used gmail account on their old site, you will keep having these issues until they fix it, for that we have no timeline as its already been 4 days. If you never applied or created a profile on their old site, you will be ok to use your existing Gmail account. if you are under time crunch, I suggest to create a new gmail account to apply for Msft jobs/ Hope it helps!!! Best Regards, Sonu

    Dear customer,

Thank you for reporting the Microsoft Careers sign‑in loop. The Careers site is owned by a web engineering team that is separate from Microsoft 365/O365 support, so we can’t directly triage or file bugs to their backlog. However, here are effective ways to get your issue acknowledged by the owning product teams:

    Recommended reporting paths

    1. Careers Support form (works best when logged out): https://careers.microsoft.com/us/en/support > If the form errors, first sign out of the Careers site and then submit. This workaround has been reported by users in Q&A. https://careers.microsoft.com/v2/global/en/home.html?
    2. Microsoft Edge DevTools feedback (easy for everyone): https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/devtools/contact > Use Send Feedback (Alt+Shift+I) to attach a screenshot and the problem URL; the DevTools team routes site issues when reproducible. Contact the Microsoft Edge DevTools team
    3. If you have a business/education tenant, open a support request from the Microsoft 365 admin center so Support can engage the appropriate product group

Please let me know if you need further assistance. I'm happy to help!

    Dear @Titus Tran,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft 365 Q&A forum community and reporting this persistent sign-in loop issue you are experiencing with the new Microsoft Careers website, specifically when attempting to apply for a position, which seems to involve the new partnership with Eightfold.ai. I understand how frustrating this is, especially since you cannot submit applications at the moment.

This appears to be a known technical bug impacting the single sign-on (SSO) process between the Microsoft login environment and the integrated Eightfold platform.

To ensure you can proceed with your application immediately, please use the following workaround:

Instead of navigating the career site and clicking 'Apply', you can often bypass the primary login flow by using a direct link to the application form.

Please try accessing the application form directly using this URL: Careers at Microsoft

    User's image

This link may route you directly to the application without triggering the sign-in loop. If it prompts you to sign in, use the same Microsoft Account you usually use, as the form itself may be hosted on a more stable endpoint.

If the direct link still forces the loop, the issue is likely rooted in your browser's cached credentials or security settings. Please try these steps, in order:

    1. Clear browser cache and cookies:
      • Completely clear all cookies and cache for the past week or "All time" in your current browser. This often forces a clean sign-in session.
    2. Use an Incognito/Private browser window:
      • Open a new Incognito/Private window and attempt to sign in or use the direct application link provided above. This bypasses most local caching issues.
    3. Try a different browser:
      • If steps 1 and 2 fail, attempt the sign-in process using a completely different browser (e.g., if you are using Edge, switch to Chrome, Firefox, or Safari).

Please let me know if you have any further questions or if the problem persists after trying these solutions. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
