That 'Organization' error indicates a volume licence version of Windows Pro has been installed on your system, if your previous correct version of Windows was the Home version, then you would need to backup your files, create a bootable Windows USB and use that to clean in stall the Home version, which should then activate automatically, I need to check if there is an OEM licence on your motherboard.

    1

Click your Start Button, type cmd then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run or paste this command and hit Enter:

    slmgr.vbs /dlv

Please post a screenshot of the resulting dialog

    3

Download the free ShowKeyPlus app from the Microsoft Store.

Please provide a screenshot of that app window and please hide your product key in the screenshot.

To resolve the activation error code 0xC004F074, which indicates that your device cannot connect to the organization's activation server, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Network Connection: Ensure that your device is connected to the internet and that you are on your organization's network.
    2. Restart Your Device: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
    3. Run Command Prompt as Administrator:
      • Search for "Command Prompt" in the Start menu.
      • Right-click on it and select "Run as administrator".
    4. Run Activation Command:
      • In the Command Prompt, type the following command and press Enter:
             slmgr.vbs /ato

      • This command attempts to activate Windows again.
    5. Check DNS Configuration: If the problem persists, ensure that your DNS settings are correct. You can check this by running ipconfig /all in the Command Prompt and verifying that the DNS server addresses are correctly set.
    6. Contact Your Organization's Support: If you continue to have problems, it may be necessary to contact your organization's IT support for further assistance, as they may need to check the activation server settings.
    7. Consider Reinstallation: If the issue arose after a hardware change and installation of a different Windows version, you might need to reinstall Windows using a version that matches your original license (e.g., Home edition) or ensure that your current version is properly licensed.

Following these steps should help you troubleshoot and potentially resolve the activation issue you are experiencing.
