A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data
Hello @PETER TUTTY,
Thank you for reaching out to the Q&A forum!
I understand that even though you have added the source to the Trusted Sources list in the security settings, your Excel files are still being blocked.
If that’s correct, could you please reconfirm this point:
Whether these files were downloaded from the Internet or email, or if they are stored in a network folder or on OneDrive/SharePoint?
If the file was downloaded from the Internet or email, Windows will add a “Mark of the Web” flag. You need to remove this flag by following these steps:
1.You can open File Explorer and navigate to the Excel file you want to enable macros for.
2.Then, please right-click the file and choose Properties.
3.In the General tab, you can check the Unblock box under the Security section.
Note: If the Unblock option is not available, it’s usually because the file is currently saved in a OneDrive or SharePoint folder, which is considered coming from the Internet.
In that case, you can try disconnecting OneDrive/SharePoint temporarily or move the file to a local folder and then check the Unblock box again.
If the issue still persists, to support you better, please provide me more detail:
1.Could you please provide detail screenshot to me?
Note: I can help you blur or hide any personal information if needed.
2.Are you using a personal account (Hotmail/Outlook.com) or a work account (managed by your organization)?
