how to get my primary password working again

Since this morning, i cannot get into any apps as it indicates my primary password is wrong. What happened?

    Hi,

    To clarify, are you referring to your Microsoft account password?

    What is the error message or code when trying to sign in to your account? Have you tried signing in through a browser?

You can go to edge://settings/autofill/passwords/settings and find the option in here. If your issue persists, please try to back up all your Edge data, you can refer to this: How to back up your Microsoft Edge favorites, passwords, and more. Then, try to create a new profile and use it as a temporary workaround until the new Edge update.

    The only way I figured out how to resolve the issue was by deleting my edge profile and creating a new one. Before I did this, I exported my favorites tabs so I wouldn't lose them. I also made sure my passwords were backed up. After all that, the problem was fixed.
