Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Hi @David Ekstrom,
Thank you for posting your question to Microsoft Q&A Forum.
According to Share your calendar in Outlook on the web - Microsoft Support, typically the “Shared calendars” settings pane you’re looking for is available in Outlook on the web (OWA) under Settings → View all Outlook settings → Calendar → Shared calendars. You should check if you found these settings under Outlook on the Web to see if it's there. If it doesn't appear on both Outlook on the Web and New Outlook, that specific pane may not appear due to pertain tenant configurations, or some controls may be hidden or disabled by policy.
Since your whole organization doesn't see it, you should ask your Microsoft 365 admin to verify:
- Confirm that external sharing/publishing (ICS/HTML) is allowed; otherwise, the Publish controls won’t render in OWA. Microsoft’s support notes that sharing may be limited or unavailable depending on org settings.
- If users are on New Outlook and expecting the old OWA-style “Shared calendars” settings page, ensure guidance points them to OWA for publish functions. The cross‑client differences are documented across Microsoft Learn articles for sharing/opening calendars: Share your calendar or open a shared calendar | Microsoft Learn
- Some visibility/behavior issues on desktop are tied to the Shared Calendar Improvements feature. While this doesn’t create the OWA settings pane, enabling/disabling it can affect shared calendar behavior in Outlook for Windows. You can read about it via this documents: How to enable and disable the Outlook calendar sharing updates - Microsoft Support
However, if the issue persists after you verify these settings, it can be caused by several underlying factors, and resolving it typically requires deeper investigation, including reviewing logs and running diagnostics.
As moderators, we don’t have access to the necessary tools to perform these checks. To ensure you get the best support, we recommend creating a support ticket through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. This will allow Microsoft Support to analyze the issue thoroughly and provide a resolution.
