Help signing in IMAP issues passwords etc

Ok. When I access my email it constantly pops up a box asking me to verify my password. I have put in all the passwords I have ever had but it keeps doing it. It says Password Incorrect - Enter the password for the IMAP account live.com.au I have tried to change my password, but am at my wits end as nothing makes any difference. NOW, it appears that I have 9 unsent emails in my account! Help me please
