Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Are you trying to change your Microsoft account password on the Microsoft website, or is this happening when you're signing in on your Windows device?
    2. Also, when you try to set the new password, do you get any specific error message, or does it simply say the password isn't accepted?

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

If you are having trouble updating your Microsoft account and it does not accept your new password, you may need to ensure that your new password meets the required criteria. According to Microsoft guidelines, passwords must:

    • Be between 10 and 65 characters long
    • Include at least one capital letter (A-Z)
    • Include at least one lowercase letter (a-z)
    • Include at least one digit (0-9)
    • Include at least one special character (such as #, $, ? %, &)

If you are still experiencing issues, you can try resetting your password again by following the steps provided on the Microsoft login page. If the problem persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
