I don't know anything. It stopped working and Microsft are so lame and defective they don't even have a phone number. Who can fix this, or do I throw the xbox and computer away?

Just tried a talk to an agent link sent by Microsoft. That Doesn't work either. Blank screen. I want a PHONE NUMBER to get proper solutions. IT fails the moment it's turned on. This is ridiculous!

Hi Alex, Yeah, wastng my time. Done all that. The whole process is flawed and defective. Nothing that costs so much should degenerate to junk 2 months out of warranty. Done the delete/ reinstall stuff already. The lack of support from Microfail is astonishing. Thanks for trying, but this is now junk.

    Hi Trevor McCann

    Thanks for the follow up!

I'm glad to hear that the fix for Xbox worked, now the remaining issue is that your laptop can't connect to the internet even when it says a secure connection.

You can try removing completely and reinstall the Network Adapter Driver, not just “update driver” but to fully uninstall it:

    1. Open Device Manager
    2. Expand Network Adapters
    3. Right‑click your Wi‑Fi or Ethernet adapter → Uninstall device
    4. Check Delete the driver software for this device if available
    5. Restart the PC

Windows will reinstall a clean driver.

Note: If Windows cannot reinstall automatically, you will need to download the driver from the laptop manufacturer (from another device) and install manually.

Let me know how it goes!

Hi Alex L.Thank you for you response. In the case of the xbox the cache clearing seemed to work. In the case of the gaming laptop everything has failed, even processes in command prompt. Now the device securely connects to internet but has no internect connection at all. Window update has not worked for over a week. I even gave up and did a reinstall of windows keeping our files but that has changed nothing. The device manager says the network adaptoer is working properly.

    Hi Trevor McCann

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Forum!

I can understand you're having a frustrating time with Minecraft, the Xbox, and the Microsoft Store all going offline at once. Please take a moment to gather all the info that could help more with your case and we can work this out together.

Here's some basic steps you can try first:

    1. Check Xbox Live Status: Visit the Xbox Live Status page to see if there are any outages or issues that could be affecting your services.
    2. Clear Cache: For the Xbox, you can clear the system cache by holding the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down, then unplugging it for a minute before restarting. For your computer, you might want to clear the Microsoft Store cache. You can do this by pressing Windows Key + R, typing wsreset.exe, and hitting Enter.
    3. Repair or Reset Apps: Navigate to Settings > Apps > Installed apps, select Microsoft Store or Minecraft, and choose Repair or Reset.
    4. Re-sign into Your Accounts: Sign out of your Xbox Live account, and then sign back in. Similarly, if the Microsoft Store isn't working, try signing out and back in there as well.

If it persists, please let me know if any error messages come up? Have you made any changes to your network or account recently before things stopped working? These could help pinpoint the issue more and result in a prompt resolution.

Also, you can consider contacting Microsoft Support or Xbox Support directly for their expertise.

Hope this helps. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with!
