We just purchased Microsoft office 365 family. However, the offer was for 50% off regular price but when we finished are bill was for the full amount plus tax. How do we contact a real person at Microsoft to resolve this issue---all we are getting is annoying scripted machine messages and then rudely hung up on.

    Hello,

This is a public forum, so for your privacy and security, we can’t help with billing issues here. Also, no one in this forum has access to your account or payment information.

To get help, open the "Get Help" app on your computer (just search for it in the Start menu). or go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Microsoft 365" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.

To resolve your billing issue with Microsoft 365, you can contact Microsoft 365 Support directly. Here are the steps to reach a support representative:

    1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center at admin.microsoft.com.
    2. On the bottom right side of the page, select Help & support.
    3. Type your question or keyword into the text box. If the results do not help, select Contact Support at the bottom.
    4. Enter a description of your issue, confirm your contact information, and select your preferred contact method.

This should help you connect with a real person who can assist you with your billing error.
