Azure billing question

Hello, I received an Azure charge of NT$8,005 (Invoice: G128876905),

but I did not intentionally deploy or use any paid Azure services.

My only purpose was to test OAuth 2.0 SMTP authentication.

I did not intentionally create Azure AD Domain Services, virtual networks,

public IP, load balancers, or any production-related resources.

After reviewing my subscription, I found that Azure AD Domain Services (AADDS)

and several networking resources were automatically created and billed

without my awareness. These services were never used and were not intended

to be enabled.

I have already canceled the subscription to prevent further charges.

Since this charge was unintentional, I kindly request a “Billing Adjustment”

or refund for the unexpected charges.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

If you have received unexpected charges for Azure services that you did not intentionally deploy or use, there are several steps you can take to address the situation:

    1. Review Your Invoice: Check the invoice that includes the charges to understand what services were billed. This can help identify any resources that were created without your knowledge.
    2. Cost Analysis: Utilize the Azure Cost Management service to analyze your charges and see detailed usage data. This can help clarify why you were billed for certain services.
    3. Support Request: Since you are seeking a billing adjustment or refund, you should create a support request in the Azure portal. This will allow you to formally request a review of the charges and explain your situation regarding the unintended services.
    4. Cancellation Confirmation: Ensure that your subscription is indeed canceled to prevent further charges.

For future reference, it’s important to monitor your Azure resources regularly to avoid unexpected charges, especially when testing new features or services.
