Yes, Microsoft Teams is included as one of the web-based versions of core Office apps available with the Office 365 A1 license for faculty. Users can access Teams through a web browser without needing to install any additional software, allowing for collaboration and communication in an educational setting.

    Dear @Mariana Albino Adorno,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum.

To answer your question: Yes. Web-based versions of the core Office applications do include Microsoft Teams.

For apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Microsoft 365 A1 licenses allow you to use the web-based versions only, directly through your web browser.

However, Microsoft Teams is an exception. Even with the A1 plan, you are typically allowed to use:

    • The web version of Teams, and
    • The desktop application, which you can download and install, to join meetings, chat, and manage classroom assignments.
