The behavior you are seeing is quite strange, on my side, the button is displayed correctly. May I ask what Outlook version are you using? You can check this in File > Office account.
Meanwhile, let's try some basic troubleshooting steps:
Please right click at the ribbon, choose customize ribbon.
On the left column, choose All Commands, check if it shows Email instead of Eemail. On the right column, select Home (Group) > Group Assets > Then choose Reset.
If even in the Customize ribbon, the button shows incorrectly. You might need to:
- Open Outlook in safe mode - Microsoft Support (If this works, the problem is likely one of the add-ins, you can go to File > Option > Add-ins > Go > Uncheck any suspicious add-ins)
- Repair an Office application - Microsoft Support (Choose Repair Online)
- Create an Outlook profile - Microsoft Support(This doesn't affect your data)
- Lastly, reinstall Classic Outlook app.
