I’m receiving incorrect messages in my inbox. On line hasn’t addressed the issue. How can I be connected with a human?

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. When you say “incorrect messages,” do you mean:
    • Emails meant for someone else?
    • Repeated or duplicate messages?
    • Scam or suspicious emails showing up in your inbox?
    • System or error messages from Outlook itself?

Also, are you using Outlook on the web, the Outlook app on your phone, or Outlook on a PC?

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

If you're receiving incorrect messages in your Outlook inbox, it could be due to unintentional emails being sent to you. This can happen if the sender mistakenly adds a special character to the To, Cc, or Bcc fields, which may lead the Outlook client to resolve the recipient incorrectly to your email address. To address this issue, you can check if there's a special character in your Active Directory (AD) attributes that might be causing this.

If you need to connect with a human for support, you can follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
    2. Select Help & support on the bottom right side of the page.
    3. Type your question or keyword in the text box and select Contact Support if the results do not help.
    4. Enter a description of your issue and confirm your contact information.
    5. Choose your preferred contact method to connect with support.

This process will help you get in touch with a human representative for further assistance.
