If the Page Down key is not functioning while the Page Up key works, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check for Physical Issues: Ensure that the Page Down key is not physically stuck or damaged. Sometimes, debris or dirt can cause keys to malfunction.
    2. Keyboard Settings: Check your keyboard settings in Windows. Sometimes, specific settings can affect how keys respond. You can access this through the Control Panel or Settings app.
    3. Keyboard Remapping: If you are using a specific application or software that might remap keys (like a gaming keyboard software), ensure that the Page Down key is not reassigned to another function.
    4. Driver Issues: Make sure your keyboard drivers are up to date. You can check for driver updates in Device Manager.
    5. Test on Another Computer: If possible, test the keyboard on another computer to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the keyboard itself or the computer settings.
    6. Use On-Screen Keyboard: As a temporary solution, you can use the On-Screen Keyboard in Windows to check if the Page Down function works there. This can help confirm if the issue is hardware-related.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be necessary to consider replacing the keyboard if it's a hardware fault.

    Hello.

This is usually a hardware issue with the keyboard. Underneath the keyboard, there is a circuit board with numerous signal tracks. Cracks in the tracks, dust or debris buildup, or corrosion can disrupt the signal flow.

To diagnose a keyboard problem, it's essential to test with the onscreen keyboard or a different keyboard via USB or Bluetooth. If the alternative keyboard works, it's certain that the issue is hardware-related.
