If you no longer have access to the phone number associated with your Microsoft Authenticator and cannot receive the verification code, you will need to ask another cloud services admin to reset your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) settings. Here are the steps they should follow:

    1. Sign in to the cloud service portal as an admin.
    2. Go to the MFA management page.
    3. Select the check box for your admin account whose MFA settings need to be reset.
    4. Select Manage user settings.
    5. Select the Require selected users to provide contact methods again check box, and then select Save.

Once this is done, you should be able to set up a new phone number for MFA verification.

    Dear @Eva Luz Zárate Brambila

Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

Based on your description, I understand that you no longer have access to the phone number linked to your authenticator because your company recently changed it, and you’re unable to receive verification codes. You’d like to know how to update the phone number.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this issue.

Regarding your situation, if you're an end-user, please reach out to your IT administrator for assistance. If you’re unable to sign in due to a phone change, a new phone number, or issues receiving your authentication code, your IT administrator can help by updating your authentication methods or revoking and re-registering your authentication.

Please note that forum moderators have no control over user accounts, especially when it comes to logging in to your account, resetting your password, changing your access, etc.

For detailed guidance, ask your IT administrator to review the step-by-step instructions provided in the referenced article: Manage user authentication methods for Microsoft Entra multifactor authentication

Here's how to find your IT Admin: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? (please also kindly reach out to your colleagues, managers, etc. to see if they have the IT department contact)

Please update me if you're an admin of your organization so that I could provide suitable steps accordingly.

Kindly let me know when there are updates or if you need further assistance. Any updates you’re able to share would be really helpful. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing how things are going!

Thank you for your time and patience.
