Thank you for reaching out. I understand you’d like to create a school account for Microsoft services such as Outlook for Education.

To set up a Microsoft school account, you generally need to go through your educational institution because these accounts are managed by the school’s IT department. The IT team handles passwords, permissions, and software deployment to ensure security and consistency for all students and staff.

For this reason, you cannot create a Microsoft school account on your own because it’s tied to your school’s domain and managed by the IT team for administrative purposes.

If your school does not provide a Microsoft 365 Education account, the only alternative is to create a personal Microsoft account instead. This will allow you to access Outlook and other Microsoft services, but it won’t include the education-specific features or licensing provided by schools.

To create a school account, you can follow these steps to set up an Office 365 for Education verified tenant if you don't already have one:

1. Navigate to the Office 365 Education Plans page.
2. Select the green Get Started for Free button.
3. Select Create a New Account.
4. Enter all requested information in the wizard, including your country or region, first name, school email address, school phone number, school name, and school size.
5. Select Next.
6. Create your Global Admin account by entering the requested information (username, domain name, password).
7. Record the username and password for your Admin account, then select Create my account.
8. Verify your identity by entering a phone number for an access code and confirming you’re not a robot.
9. Select You’re ready to go.
10. Select I’ll verify later and confirm the prompt.

After completing these steps, your Office 365 EDU tenant account will be created, which will serve as your school account.
