Hello,

I have been double billed for Office 365 for a couple of years now and I cannot find a phone number to ask why and how to stop this. I suspect it was from a laptop and then a desktop purchase? Please help.

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. To add to the above that is inclined on the business side, kindly take note that the forum does not have access to user accounts to be able to check this billing side of things and you can reach out to the support team at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ and then click on Microsoft 365 and then click Get Home Support and then type in Billing question and click the blue button that says Sign in to contact Support and login and proceed from there or you can also request a call back by going to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2168171 in case you are having trouble in getting a refund.

How do I call "Phone Support: If you prefer to speak with someone, you can find the current support phone number for your region by checking the global phone numbers list. Note that billing support is typically available in English during business hours, while technical support is available 24/7."

If you have been double billed for Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), there are a few steps you can take to address the issue:

    1. Check Your Subscriptions: Log into your Microsoft 365 admin center to review all active subscriptions. This will help you identify if you have multiple subscriptions that may be causing the double billing.
    2. Contact Support: To resolve billing issues, it's best to contact Microsoft support directly. You can do this by:
      • Going to the admin center at https://admin.cloud.microsoft and selecting Help & support at the bottom right side of the page.
      • Typing your question or issue in the text box and selecting Contact Support if the results do not help.
      • Entering a description of your issue and confirming your contact details.
    3. Phone Support: If you prefer to speak with someone, you can find the current support phone number for your region by checking the global phone numbers list. Note that billing support is typically available in English during business hours, while technical support is available 24/7.
    4. Cancel Unused Subscriptions: If you find that you have subscriptions that you no longer need, you can cancel them to prevent further charges. Instructions for canceling subscriptions can be found in the Microsoft documentation.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the double billing issue and stop any further charges.
