I am attempting to build a pipeline to a webtable, I am unable to create a linked service because the Azure Integration Runtime (auto resolve) is not available. I have a mac and don't want to do a self hosted runtime, and am really just trying to test out a simple pipeline.

Within Linked Service, when I clicked into "Connect via integration runtime", there is no option other than "new", and when I click into that, there is no option for the Azure integration runtimes that I built or the auto resolve one.

    Hi @Max Walzenbach ,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum and thanks for reaching out here.

Unfortunately Azure Integration Runtime isn't supported for Web Table connector in ADF. As per the pre requisites called out in the public documentation, in order to use a web table connector, you will have to use a Self Hosted Integration Runtime. Which is why Azure Integration Runtime is grayed out for Web table connector.

Here is the reference doc: ADF Web Table connector - Prerequisites

Currently Self Hosted Integration runtime can only be installed/Supported on below Windows Operating Systems:

    • Windows 8.1
    • Windows 10
    • Windows Server 2012
    • Windows Server 2012 R2
    • Windows Server 2016
    • Windows Server 2019

If you have any specific product feedback for this connector, I would recommend you to please share it by following the process mentioned in the article : How to send ideas and suggestions to the Synapse team [Please note, this article is published by Synapse team but you can follow similar steps for Azure Data Factory].

Hope this information helps. Do let us know if you have further query.
