    Hi @PCaf

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on the information you shared, I understand that the Copilot icon has disappeared from your Classic Outlook ribbon. Even though you managed to add it back manually, the button remains inactive (grayed out or not clickable).

After researching and testing in my own environment, I can still see Copilot appearing on the left sidebar and the top right corner as usual.User's image

To help me troubleshoot this better, could you please provide a few more details?

-What specific Office 365 license are you using?

-What version number is your Outlook currently running? If possible, please try updating to the absolute latest version.

-When did this behavior start occurring?

-If possible, please contact your IT administrator to verify that your specific Copilot license is still active and assigned to your account.

    Troubleshooting Steps:

Could you please check if the Copilot button is visible and working on Outlook on the Web (OWA) or the New Outlook?

If it works normally on the web, please try the following steps for Classic Outlook:

    1. Re-add your account: Remove your email account from Outlook and add it back to force a sync of settings.
    2. Repair Outlook: Run an "Online Repair" for your Microsoft Office installation > https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/repair-an-office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b
    3. Reinstall Outlook: If the issue persists after the repair, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the Outlook application.

If you have tried these steps and are still facing the same behavior, please let me know the details asked above so I can assist you further!

To get the Copilot button back in your Classic Outlook ribbon, you may need to check the following:

    1. Ensure Licensing: Make sure you are assigned a license that supports Microsoft 365 Copilot. If the license is newly assigned, it might take some time to propagate.
    2. Check for Conflicts: Ensure you are not signed in with both a personal account and a work or school account, as this can cause validation issues.
    3. Internet Connectivity: Verify that your internet connection is stable, as Copilot requires certain network conditions to function properly.
    4. Office Updates: If you have recently reset or updated Office, it might affect the activation status. Ensure that your Office is up to date.
    5. Privacy Settings: Check if Copilot is blocked by your privacy settings. You may need to adjust these settings to allow Copilot to function.
    6. Update Channel: Confirm that your organization is using the Current Channel or Monthly Enterprise Channel, as Copilot is not supported in the Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel.
    7. Shared Computer Activation: If you are in an environment using Shared Computer Activation (SCA), Copilot will not be available.

If you have checked all these factors and the Copilot button is still not clickable, you may need to consult your Microsoft 365 admin for further assistance.
