    Hi W,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. I'm happy to help.

The SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (ACPI.sys) crash when enabling Memory Integrity (HVCI) typically points to a firmware/driver compatibility issue, especially on AMD desktop platforms. This behavior has been seen in multiple Core‑Isolation‑related BSOD cases.

    Please try following suggestions:

    1. Update BIOS/UEFI and AMD chipset drivers
Several similar threads show that ACPI‑related crashes under HVCI often stem from outdated firmware or platform drivers. Make sure to:
      1. Update your motherboard BIOS to the latest available version.
      2. Install the latest AMD chipset driver directly from AMD website.
    2. Check your BIOS CPU/virtualization settings
On AMD systems, certain power/CPU control features can trigger boot‑time faults when Memory Integrity is enabled. Please verify:
      1. SVM/AMD‑V is enabled.
      2. If your BIOS has CPPC (Collaborative Processor Performance Control), try turning it off, rebooting, and testing again.
    3. Look for incompatible drivers
Even if Windows Security does not list any problematic drivers, you may still have a boot‑time driver failing HVCI requirements. You can:
      1. Open Event Viewer > Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > CodeIntegrity > Operational and check for blocked or unsigned drivers.
      2. Uninstall that devices / drivers.
    4. Share a minidump if the problem persists
If the system still crashes after trying the steps above, please navigate to "C:\Windows\Minidump", compress some recent dump files, upload to OneDrive then share me the public link.

If you can, please also share the motherboard model number, this helps identify known BIOS or driver conflicts specific to that board.

I hope that above information is helpful to you.

    Hii ,

If it is a laptop or desktop, if possible, could you provide the laptop model or your desktop configuration?

    Thanks
