Hi @Sushma Vankhede ,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.
Since Azure DevOps now requires an active Azure subscription to create new organizations, this might be the reason you're facing issues. When you create your organization, it uses the Azure subscription to manage billing.
Here are the steps you can follow to create an Azure DevOps organization:
- Sign in to Azure DevOps: Go to Azure DevOps and sign in.
- Create New Organization: Click on the “New organization” button.
- Fill in the Details: You’ll need to provide a name for your organization, choose its hosting geography, and select an Azure subscription for billing. Then, click “Continue.”
Make sure to check that the Azure subscription you’re linking is active and that you adhere to the naming guidelines for your organization.
Your new organization will include some free tier benefits, like the first five users being free with a Basic license and access to various Azure services. However, if you exceed the free limits, you will be charged on the linked Azure subscription.
If you're still having trouble, here are some common issues to consider:
- Ensure your Azure subscription isn't suspended or has billing issues.
- If your company has policies in place with Microsoft Entra ID, it might restrict organization creation.
