SQL Standard on Windows VM in HYPER-V Cluster

Hello All

I've question about licensing.
I have VM Windows Server 2019 with SQL Standard installation. This VM is working in Hyper-V Cluster (2 nodes).
When first node will be destroyed VM will be moved to second node.
My question is when I migrate whole VM from one node to another one do I need to buy Software Assurance for SQL Standard on this server?

    Yes, but I don't want to create HA on SQL, only on HYPER-V. So when first node will be destroyed whole Windows VM will be moved to second node. VM will be moved to another node, not only database I also need to by SA for SQL Standard?

    You need separate licences.

    Also is good to know that in Standard edition you can use Basic Availability Groups and not Always On Availability Groups.
