Hello Reservation
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A regarding the error TenantAccessBlockedError(500). This error usually occurs if:
- Your Microsoft 365 subscription (Exchange Online, M365 E3, etc.) was temporarily suspended due to non-payment or past-due status or you have paid the bill, but the payment has not yet propagated across Microsoft’s backend systems (can take up to 24 hours).
- The tenant status is still showing as “Disabled” or “Suspended” in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Sometimes, if you recently moved from a trial to a paid plan, the Exchange service provisioning can get stuck.
To resolve this, please try the following as a Global Admin:
- Verify Subscription and Billing:
- Sign into the Microsoft 365 Admin Center at admin.microsoft.com.
- Go to Billing > Your products to check for expired/suspended statuses.
- Review Billing > Bills & payments for any overdue invoices—process payments if needed. Access may restore within hours, but allow up to 24 hours.
- Check User Licenses:
- In the Admin Center, navigate to Users > Active users.
- Ensure valid licenses (e.g., Microsoft 365 or Exchange Online) are assigned and active. Renew or reassign as necessary.
If the tenant is blocked due to billing hold, you must contact Microsoft 365 billing support.
Hope this help.
