This should still work:
Let us remove the lock screen PLEASE!!!!
This is ridiculous!!!. I do not want to be forced to log on every time I open my computer. we aren't even given the choice to remove the log-in screen? This is STUPID!! Please give us a way to handle this in the same simple way it was on windows 10. Bad enough I was forced to buy a new computer.

In Windows 11, the lock screen and sign‑in are part of the standard startup and wake experience. The system is designed to require a sign‑in step when the device starts or wakes, but you can make that step nearly invisible and prevent unnecessary re‑locking.
You can consider the following supported ways to minimize or avoid repeated sign‑ins:
Option 1: Make sign‑in almost instant with Windows Hello
- Open Settings > Accounts > Sign‑in options
- Set up PIN (Windows Hello), Face, or Fingerprint
- (Optional) Turn on For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign‑in for Microsoft accounts on this device to stop password prompts entirely
Option 2: Resume work faster after restarts
- Open Settings > Accounts > Sign‑in options
- Under Additional settings, turn Dynamic lock Off
- Turn on Automatically save my restartable apps and restart them when I sign back in
Option 3: Local account with no password
- Switch from Microsoft account > Local account
- Remove password from the local account
