Help getting personal info removed from bing search

Initially, I completed the appropriate form at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/concern/bing - though when the email response came in, although when I submitted the reason as 'Exposed Personal Information' the reason in the response was 'Outdated link' so it just sent me an email saying the system will update itself for old links.

I then attempted to contact bing directly by reporting a 'Privacy concern' @ the Microsoft account page, explaining their system made an error, and still they only told me 'select the correct reason when submitting the concern'

Since then, I have re-submitted the concern, and also resubmitted the privacy concern directly asking them there to remove the search result link, though I haven't gotten anything back yet.

Customer service phone numbers are just bots that won't connect me to anyone, I've also tried submitting the request at bing feedback, and their live chat option who told me they are only available for tech support.

What else can I do?

    Hi,

Search engines like Bing cannot remove content directly from websites. If your information is still available on the site itself, you’ll need to contact the website owner or their support team to request its removal, since Bing can only display content that is already publicly accessible online. If it is already a dead link or inaccessible, you can submit a request through the Content Removal Tool .

To address your issue with getting personal information removed from Bing search results, you might consider the following steps:

    1. Revisit the Removal Form: Ensure that you are using the correct form for reporting personal information. You can find the appropriate form at Microsoft's concern page.
    2. Clarify Your Request: When submitting your request, be explicit about the nature of your concern. Clearly state that it involves exposed personal information and not just outdated links.
    3. Follow Up: If you haven't received a response after resubmitting, consider following up on your previous submissions. Sometimes, persistence can help escalate the issue.
    4. Contact Microsoft Support: If you are unable to reach a live person through the customer service phone numbers, try using the "Get Help" feature in the Microsoft support app. You can type "Chat with an agent" to connect with someone who may assist you further.
    5. Use Social Media: Sometimes reaching out via social media platforms can yield quicker responses. Consider contacting Microsoft through their official Twitter or Facebook accounts.
    6. Explore Privacy Settings: Review your privacy settings on your Microsoft account to ensure that you have taken all necessary steps to protect your personal information.
    7. Report a Privacy Concern: If you continue to face issues, you can report a privacy concern directly through the Microsoft account page, explaining the error in their system.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, you may need to wait for a response from Microsoft regarding your submitted concerns.
