    Hi Russ Norfleet

From your description, I understand that you’re trying to sign in to Microsoft Teams, but the verification code email isn’t arriving, even after updating the request to your current Gmail address. At the same time, your Gmail only works in webmail, and I know how frustrating this is.

Just to confirm, when you request the code, is it being sent to a Gmail address or an Outlook/Hotmail address, and do you see any Microsoft security emails arriving at all in Gmail webmail?

Meanwhile, please try the following steps:

1, Verify whether the code reaches Gmail webmail at all

Because you mention your Gmail works only on webmail, please request a new code and check directly in Gmail webmail:

    • Please check Spam/ Junk folder and All Mail.
    • If you find the email in Spam, mark it as Not spam so future codes land in Inbox.

2, Avoid repeated code requests for a short time

Microsoft may temporarily throttle or delay sending codes if too many requests are made in a short period, as part of account protection. Waiting a bit before requesting again can help.

3, Try a different verification method (if it’s offered)

On the verification screen, try another method if available (SMS, Authenticator, etc.)

If you can sign in to your Microsoft account elsewhere, you can add or update verification methods under your security info. You can see: Microsoft account security info & verification codes - Microsoft Support

For more details, you can check out Microsoft’s official guidance for missing verification codes here: Troubleshoot Microsoft verification code issues - Microsoft Support

Please feel free to let me know how it goes. I truly appreciate your time and understanding.
