Microsoft 365 Basic is only for 100GB OneDrive storage. You can still install OneDrive app to enjoy the bigger storage.

To do so, go to your Start menu and see if you already have the OneDrive app installed. If so, go ahead and run it, sign in. If you don't have it installed, you will need to download it, install it back and then set it up. You can download it from here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/onedrive/download

Microsoft 365 Basic does not include the installable desktop apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). It only provides 100 GB of OneDrive storage and access to the free web versions of the Office apps in a browser.

To use Office apps with a local installation on a laptop, a subscription such as Microsoft 365 Personal or Microsoft 365 Family is required. A Microsoft 365 Basic subscription cannot be used to install Office on the device.

To confirm the subscription type and renewal status, sign in to the Microsoft account services page and check that the plan listed is Microsoft 365 Basic and that the expiry date is correct.
