    Hello

Are you sure you subscribed to the Microsoft 365 Basic, if that's the case, this plan doesn't come with apps to install. It is only for 100GB of ONeDRive storage.

Can you double check the name of the plan you have renewed?

If it was via Microsoft directly, go to https://account.live.com > subscriptions, see what's listed there.

If it is via Apple, you will need to view it through your Apple account, not Microsoft.

To use Microsoft 365 on the new Mac after letting the subscription expire on the old one, the subscription must first be renewed and active, then Office can be installed and activated on the new device.

    1. Check and renew the subscription
      1. Go to the Microsoft account Services/Payment & billing page:
      2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account that was used for the old Mac.
      3. In the subscription details:
        • If it shows Expires on [date] and that date has passed, renew the subscription.
        • If it shows Has recurring billing but the subscription is not active, follow the prompts to reactivate.
      4. If a yellow bar in any Office app says RENEW YOUR SUBSCRIPTION or SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRED, use the Buy or Reactivate option to renew online.
    2. Install Microsoft 365 on the new Mac
      1. After the subscription is active, sign in at the Microsoft account Services page again and use the Install option for Microsoft 365, or follow the install steps in the download/install article referenced below.
      2. Run the installer on the new Mac and sign in with the same Microsoft account when prompted so the apps pick up the renewed subscription.
    3. If the Install button is missing or does not work
      • Confirm again that the subscription status is active on the Services/Payment & billing page.
      • If it is active and the Install button still does not work, contact Microsoft Support as directed in the renewal troubleshooting article.

If the subscription was purchased through Apple (App Store) and the Mac shows a payment error (for example, code 1007), verify the subscription is active under the Apple ID subscriptions page and, if needed, use the Restore previous purchase steps for Office for Mac. If the subscription has expired there, renew it first, then retry activation on the new Mac.
