    Hi @Gevorkian, Armen,

Thank you for reaching out and for taking the time to explain what you have tried. I understand how inconvenient it is when you only need to cancel one date, but the series keeps coming back after you delete it.

To cancel just one occurrence, please follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to Outlook on the web and open Calendar.
    2. Select the meeting on the specific date you want to cancel, then select Cancel.
    3. Choose This event in the dropdown so you are cancelling only that single occurrence.

    1. Select Cancel, add an optional note, then send the cancellation so attendees are notified and that one occurrence is removed.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow the steps above and let me know if it works for you. If not, please share a screenshot of what you see so that we can continue working together to resolve the issue.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Should you have any questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out so I can continue to support you. If you found the response useful, please consider marking it as accepted, as this may help other community members who are looking for similar guidance.

I look forward to continuing the conversation.

In Microsoft Teams, canceling only one occurrence of a recurring meeting is not supported in the same granular way as in Outlook; Teams treats the series as a whole. As organizer, canceling from Teams typically applies to the entire series.

To manage cancellations more flexibly, use Outlook (desktop or web) where recurring meetings can be edited per occurrence or series, and then Teams will reflect those changes. In Outlook, the organizer can open the meeting from the calendar and either cancel the whole meeting or adjust the recurrence end date to stop future instances.

If using keyboard navigation with a screen reader in Teams and canceling a meeting:

    1. Go to Calendar in Teams (for example, Ctrl+Shift+3 in the browser or Command+3 on Mac).
    2. Tab to the meeting and open it.
    3. Use Shift+Tab until focus is on Delete (or "Delete button").
    4. Press Enter/Return and confirm in the dialog to cancel the meeting.

This cancels that Teams meeting entry; however, for recurring meetings, cancellation behavior is still series-oriented. For per-date control, manage the series in Outlook.
