I can't sign in to my OneDrive, it's said "error code 0x8004de25" and I can't use my office 365 as well. I can't access to my Credential Manager too.

    Hi,\

It looks like the client might need to be Reset.

    Via https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/4375923/(article)-reset-the-onedrive-sync-client?forum=msoffice-all&referrer=answers

    In the Windows search,

Type cmd, right-click it, and choose Run as Administrator.

    YAML

    reg delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\OneDrive\Accounts\Business1" /f
    reg delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\OneDrive\Accounts\Business2" /f
    reg delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\OneDrive\Accounts\Business3" /f

    1. Press Windows + R, then run: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\OneDrive.exe /reset
    2. Go to: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\Settings and delete all folders inside the Settings directory

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.

Follow these steps in order, testing OneDrive/Office sign-in after each major step:

    1. Confirm the account and password work online
      • Sign in to the appropriate site to verify there are no account/authentication issues:
        • For a personal account: sign in to the personal Microsoft account.
        • For a Microsoft 365 account: sign in at the Microsoft 365 sign-in page.
      • If sign-in fails online, follow the guidance to reset or recover the Microsoft account:
        • If the password is forgotten, use the steps in Reset your password.
        • If the username/email is not recognized, use Look up your Microsoft account.
        • If the account shows as not existing or deleted (for example, inactive for more than two years), it cannot be reopened.
    2. Check that OneDrive is using the correct account
      • Select the OneDrive icon in the taskbar notification area (use Show hidden icons if needed).
      • Select Help & Settings > Settings.
      • On the Account tab, confirm that the expected account is listed.
      • If the wrong account is listed, sign out there and sign back in with the correct account.
    3. If sign-in attempts were blocked or throttled
      • If there have been many failed sign-in attempts, wait at least 24 hours without trying to sign in again, then try once more.
      • If the account appears blocked due to suspicious activity, follow the unblock and recovery guidance for Microsoft accounts (including using the Microsoft account recovery form if prompted).
    4. If this is a work or school (Azure AD) account
      • If signing into the My Apps portal or other Microsoft 365 resources fails:
        • Confirm the correct URL is used (for example, https://myapps.microsoft.com or the organization’s customized My Apps URL).
        • Ensure the work/school password is current; if needed, use Reset your work or school password.
        • Verify security info (phone, Authenticator, etc.) is up to date.
        • Add the My Apps portal URL to Internet Properties > Security > Trusted sites and clear the browser cache, then try again.
    5. If Credential Manager cannot be opened
      • Because access to Credential Manager is blocked, cached credentials cannot be cleared directly. After confirming the account works on the web and OneDrive is pointed at the correct account, focus on fixing Windows sign-in components (for example, by ensuring the correct account is used and that there are no organization/work accounts still attached under Access work or school). If the issue persists, contact Microsoft support for interactive troubleshooting, as local OS issues with Credential Manager are outside what can be resolved purely through account-side steps.

If none of the above resolves the issue and the account is confirmed to be valid and unblocked online, use the Microsoft account Sign-in Helper tool and, if necessary, the Help with the Microsoft account recovery form to escalate the sign-in problem.
